Wineries in the Basque Country
Bodegas Ysios have a total extension of 34 hectares in Rioja Alavesa distributed over Laguardia and Elvillar, and at the foot of Cantabria Mountain Range.
Opened in 2001, Ysios Vineyards are divided into 8 lands with particular localisation, direction and geo-climatic conditions, which makes clear the large diversity and complexity of its wines.
Architect Santiago Calatrava has designed the winery through the line exaltation of the barrels' row. The construction means an architectural landmark and nowadays the building is a landscape symbol of the environment. The winery owns several social rooms inside, ideal for business meetings, presentations, and so on.
