Natural Science Museum of Alava

The Natural Science Museum of Alava offers an interesting museographic offer made up by botanic, paleontological, mineralogical and zoological collections. Along with these, an important bibliographic collection, where the periodic scientific magazines exceed one thousand titles.

 

The important photographic collection -in classical and digital format- completes the heritage of the newest Natural Science Museum in the Country that has been preserved, researched and spread. The museum is located in the Doña Otxanda tower and consists of three floors.

 

Physically handicapped people can only access the first floor.

Opening hours:

Tuesday to Saturday: 10am-2pm and 4pm-6.30pm.
Sundays and public holidays: 11am-2pm.
Mondays: closed (if a public holiday falls on a Monday, the museum will open on the Monday and close the following day).
