Museum of Minerals and Fossils

The museum's first set of mineral and fossil exhibits comes from a private collection that was transferred by Mr Nicolás Aguado to the Urretxu Town Council.

Visitors can admire around 1,000 crystallised minerals, as well as fossils that illustrate the different geological periods that go from the beginning of life on Earth to the Pleistocene, just at the beginning of the Quaternary Period (plants, fish species, echinoids, etc.).

Collections: Minerals from all over the world and fossils from all periods. Schedules: Walks. A fair, talks and special exhibitions in October. Children schedules Walks and storytelling performances on nature in May and November.
