Cultural Heritage

The Tower of the Anda Family is one of the oldest buildings in Vitoria-Gasteiz (15th century). It is located next to the Cathedral of Santa María and used to be part of the city's defence system.

It is a huge, gothic construction that keeps its closed appearance in the lower part and was built with mansonry. The upper part is wider and it is made with wood and brick.

This building belonging to the city's old defence system was declared Historic-Artistic Monument in 1984 following restoration works in 1981. Today, this tower is a private property.
