The building is located on the upper area of the region with views of the hole formed by the River Oria. Sagarmendi is one of the most ancient tower-houses built in order to defend Andoain from potential attacks coming from the valley of Oria. This nice building is nowadays a private residence. Although restoration works in the interior changed its original aspect, its owners respected its façade, structure and medieval features, such as arrow loops. It consists of three floors; the first one is a garage, the second one houses two residences and the upper one is an attic.
