Church of Santa María de la Asunción's construction works began in the second half of the 16th century. It is a one-nave Renaissance church whose nave is divided into five equal stretches, the second one has two chapels that confer cross shape to the church. The apse is octagonal and the choir is located at the other side. Outside, walls are built in ordinary masonry and the tower, with its majestic belfry, stands out. The temple consists of three entrances, the main one is a two-storey triumphal arch with a majestic façade door-altarpiece. In the interior it is worth mentioning the high altarpiece, built in wood following Rococo style.
