The sanctuary of Gastiburu was built in the 3rd century BC. It is a monument with great symbolic, political and religious value.
But nowadays little is left from this complex and singular monument. There are four structures distributed around a central pentagon-shape space and the aforementioned structures have horseshoe shape. Nearby, the visitor will find another row of three circular buildings.
The sanctuary was built in stone and clay and its interior was reinforced with a complex trunk structure.
