Church of San Bartolome de Aldeacueva

The church of San Bartolome de Aldeacueva is a building of large dimensions built in the 18th century.

The temple merges Baroque and Neo-classical styles and its plan is a Greek cross framed within a rectangle. At the rear there is a choir. The church has two types of vault: a blind dome in the transcept crossing and barrels in the rest. Columns faced by Tuscan pillars support the building. In the main façade, the entrance is placed under a semi-circular arch supported by great pilasters. The door has a flat tympanum with a pediment over it.

This façade has a tower on each side, which end in a pinnacle.
