Olakua Tower

Olakua tower-house, built in the 15th and 16th centuries, is located 200 metres away from the Monastery of Bidaurreta.

The structure, of medieval style, has an entrance in the shape of ogival arches. Over the past years it operated as a farmhouse and mill, until the Monastery of Bidaurreta was finished, where the Poor Clare Sisters took shelter.

Completely restored, it nowadays hosts municipal offices.
