Cultural Heritage

Zamudio tower is one of the best architectural examples of Bizkaia¿s lineages.

Located beside Zamudio¿s parish church, the coat¿s arms appear again in the temple because the Zamudio family, patrons of the church, wanted to give it a military touch. With almost square plan, the tower is a cubic volume, built in checker work and masonry. The space, turned into an exhibition hall, has been a farming house for many days. The library of the municipality is in the tower.

Type: Tower. Period: Sig15th century. Parking: Free car park in the surroundings of the tower.
