Cultural Heritage

This huge building was built following Carlos III's order, between 1787 and 1792. It was the place where goods were registered and that function determined the buildingýs structure. Apart from the offices, it had storerooms to store the goods and a residence for the administrator. The building has a big inner courtyard with arches and columns. Aduana is a Neo-classical building, with no decoration, with symmetry prevailing. It has three floors and a mezzanine. The main façade is divided in thirteen stretches and some semi-circular arches and windows divide the stretches. The three central stretches stand out and finish in a pediment with the coat of arms in the middle.
