Foronda Palace

This spectacular building is, nowadays, Zumaia's culture centre. It was originally built for the Marqués de Foronda as a summer residence. Designed by architect Juan José Gurrutxaga, the palace has a lordly aspect, which can be appreciated in different elements, such as its cut sandstorm masonry or the battlements. The Zumaia cultural house has a variety of premises and rooms with different characteristics for public use, a photographic laboratory and internet service. The municipal library and the historic archives, where all the documents from 1292 to 1960 are stored, are also located in the Foronda Palace.

Services: Recreational area / Children facilities / Park / Exhibition hall
