Located on top of the mountain of the same name (Mount San James). It is a modest, rectangular construction with a single nave and straight apse. Built in masonry, probably in the 13th century, it has several additions to the front and sides.
The front is topped with a belfry and bell. Inside holds an 18th century altarpiece with images of St Sebastian, St Christopher, Christ and St James on horseback brandishing a sword. Over the altar, once stood a magnificent alabaster carving of St James the Pilgrim, probably also from the 13th century, now in the custody of the diocesan museum.
