The Zumaia marina is situated inside a natural bay at the mouth of the river Urola, protected from the Northwest winds. It is the perfect place for tourists to enjoy, as it is confirmed by the blue flag that flutters as a guarantee of its excellent quality. Its coordinates are 43º18 N and 2º15 W. Opened in 1999, this marina holds about 500 ships up to 15 metres long. At low tide draft is 5 metres deep at the mouth, and 3,5 along the shipping channel. In addition to all this, it provides necessary services such as petrol, water, electricity, travelift and crane for up to 35 tons, etc. Access requirements: Free for pedestrians. Payment of mooring fee. Car Park: Yes, free.
