Alava's Northern region, which includes the municipalities of Amurrio, Ayala, Artziniega, Llodio and Okondo, is where the Hondarribi Zuri native grape variety is grown, which is used for making Alava's Txakoli.
This young straw-yellow wine has a fruity taste, balanced acidity and strong personality. In the mouth it's soft and light.
