Haricot beans are a product with a long tradition in the Basque Country and have been grown on our farms for more than 500 years. Haricot beans with the Eusko Label are high quality and belong to selected varieties. They have been classified by expert tasters as "very good" or "excellent".
Their traditional production in small market gardens is characterised by the use of growing methods in line with environmental requirements.
The most characteristic types of haricot beans in the Basque Country are as follows: haricot beans from Tolosa, haricot beans from Alava and haricot beans from Gernika.
