3,000 cheeses from 5 continents at the World Cheese Awards, to be held in San Sebastián

From 16th to 18th November San Sebastián will be hosting the Euskadi-Basque Country International Cheese Festival, a new event organised by the Artzai Gazta association, which over three days will showcase the world of cheese. The festival begins with the international “World Cheese Awards”, which will present the prize for the best cheese in the world in 2015. The festival programme is packed with activities: top chefs, expert cheese makers, international distributors and experienced judges - but the stars will be the small craft cheese makers who have managed to bring this competition from Great Britain to the Basque Country for the first time. Activities will be open to the general public, who will have the chance to enjoy the event while tasting the finest international cheeses.
