The TV series Sin Límites (No Limits) is to recreate the first journey round the world

RTVE and Amazon Prime Video have announced a television series to recreate the feats of Juan Sebastián Elcano y Fernando de Magallanes that ended in the first circumnavigation of the globe 500 years ago.

The four episodes of the series are to be filmed in the Dominican Republic, the Canary Islands and the Basque Country, using a replica of the Nao Victoria, the only one of the five ships in the expedition to return to port, captained by the illustrious sailor from Getaria, making it the first vessel to sail round the world.
