Beautiful Karraspio Beach belongs to the town of Mendexa although it is practically in Lekeitio.
Apart from enjoying a nice swim, the beach offers the opportunity to practice varied sports, such as surfing, volleyball and sailing. Karraspio is an appropriate wave for complete beginners. It needs a big swell to break. It has different waves depending on the tide.
San Nicolás Island is just in front and the sets pass on its eastern side, where on occasions there is a quality left. The promenade that goes as far as Lekeitio provides lovely views of the Biscay's coast.
Surfing, sailing, kite flying, beach soccer, scuba diving, volleyball concerts in the open air.
