Wine Oil Spa Villa de Laguardia

The Wine Oil Spa at the Hotel Villa de Laguardia (Rioja Alavesa) uses the therapeutic properties of wine and olive oil to treat the mind and body. The centre has a floor area of nearly 1,000 sq m and is divided into two clearly differentiated spaces.

In the spa area, an olive tree of the Arróniz variety presides over the thermal bath circuit, which comprises various types of contrast showers, a Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath and an ice fountain. The pool treatments (hydrojets, water beds, cold water tub, etc.) are all designed to help you feel better. You can also rest on the comfortable hammocks in the relaxation area.

And as the thermal circuit is covered by a 200-sq-m hemispherical dome, you can enjoy the scenery outside and, at nighttime, the chromotherapy system. The second space has 15 theme-based cabins for body and facial treatments and a variety of hydrotherapy techniques. The Wine Oil Spa also offers treatments based on locally-grown products such as chestnuts, sloes, Montaña Alavesa truffles and the native aromatic plants.
