Agorregi Foundry and Mills

Agorregi Foundry and Mills

The ironworks and mill complex comprises the Agorregi foundry and four mills, besides the infrastructure made up of reservoirs, dams and channels. It accurately reproduces the iron making process of the 18th century. Nowadays, as 250 years ago, visitors can see how the iron was hammered and shaped, and admire the enormous bellows powered by hydraulic energy that was used to get the fire going. It also attracts attention the multi level reservoir system, which is very original and effective.
