Basque Maritime Museum

Located in a 18th century building that used to be devoted to salvage and monitoring port activity.

In 2007 the Naval Museum restored its exhibition area, and the two main floors devoted to the permanent exhibitions have become halls for long-term collections.

The top floor houses smaller-scale exhibitions and educational workshops, as well as a specialist library which is open to everyone who is interested in consulting its archives.

The objective of the museum is to contribute to the preservation, study and dissemination of the Basque Country's maritime history and heritage.
