D'elikatuz is a diet and gastronomy centre for children and adults that is located in Ordizia. It consists of two thematic areas: world diet and Basque Country gastronomy throughout time, apart from many general contents about food, fairs and markets, Basque cuisine, gastronomic societies and cider houses.
This is a place where it is possible to know textures, flavours, and where conferences are given about food, well-balanced diets, food disorders, and so on. D'elikatuz offers a large room to temporary exhibits and in the middle of the space we will find concerts, conferences, campaigns and similar issues.
The project embraces education, research and spreading, and raises inhabitants' interest on food and gastronomy, as well as increases their knowledge about those topics and organise activities to encourage healthy diet. Moreover, the ground floor houses the Goierri Interpretation Centre, which enables getting to know in depth this region.
