Wineries in the Basque Country
Continuing a tradition of more than two centuries, in 1928 was founded the winery Luis Cañas.
Only from 1970 they started with the marketing. Actually is one of the most important winery in Rioja Alavesa.
They have won a lot of prizes. The last one was when "Reserva Especial de la Familia 2006" won the prize for best wine in the world, during the important contest "Decanter prizes".
