Lastur Valley, bulls in the mountains

Bulls in such a green landscape? Yes, in Lastur Valley, a large hollow surrounded by mountains with its own bull race. The betisos or larrabeixak are the oldest native bovine race in Europe. During the feasts and at some weekends some larrabeixak bullfighting spectacles are celebrated in an old rural bullring placed near Lastur's church of San Nicolás.
