Mural Itinerary of Vitoria-Gasteiz - The Painted City

Vitoria-Gasteiz is an art gallery outdoors that we invite you to discover.

With the IMVG-The Painted City there has been provided to the city of a tool of public and community expression across which its inhabitants have found a place of public participation and of creation. This route is an admiration motive for the visitors and of pride and sign of identity for the persons who inhabit the city.

This Project began in the year 2007 of the hand of artists Verónica Werckmeister, Christina Werckmeister and Brenan Duarte with the idea of filling the walls of the historical center of Vitoria-Gasteiz of the experiences and the feelings of all the persons who somehow form the city, impelling also artists and local creators who are employed at every wall hand to hand with its neighbors.
