Towns

Anoeta is located in the Tolosaldea region, within the historical territory of Gipuzkoa. The River Oria flows through the town shaping the border between Anoeta and the neighbouring Irura. When we get to the town centre, the church of San Juan Bautista will catch our attention. The ceiling of the 16th century building is covered with ribbed vaults. It is also remarkable Arteaga Tower House, a magnificent farmhouse with a coat of arms.

Natural landscapes and traditions

Close to Anoeta tourists will have the possibility to go hiking in the surroundings of Mount Uzturre (730 m). It should also be mentioned that there is a stone-made cross in the vicinity of the town, where long ago the children were taught to walk.

If we pay a visit at the end of June, we will be able to have a lot of fun at San Juan's festival. Streets are flooded with festive events during those days.
