The house is in the Garagaltza district of the municipality of Oñati in Gipuzkoa province, right in the heart of the Basque Country, 73 kilometres from San Sebastián, 64 from Bilbao and 52 from Vitoria-Gasteiz. Oñati boasts the sanctuary church of Arantzazu, a spectacular place both for its heritage value and because it is perched over crags and gullies. It was also home to the first university in the Basque Country, founded in 1540: the University of the Holy Spirit, housed in an outstanding Renaissance building. Arregi 2 has 4 rooms, which can be hired individually or as part of the whole house, plus a fully-equipped kitchen, living room and a large terrace with views of Monte Aloña. Possible activities in the area include walking and mountain biking.
