Txakoli wineries in the Basque Country
Founded in 1995, the Txabarri winery sells part of its production abroad. Their vineyards cultivate the hondarribi zuri, hondarribi beltza, pinot noir, cabernet sauvignon, and riesling foile blanc grape varieties, producing an excellent white, red and rosé wine. The txakolis, marketed under the Txabarri brand, correspond to the Bizkaiko Txakolina Designation of of Origin.
