Confitería Goya

Established in 1886 and today in the hands of the fifth generation of the family, Goya preserves are an emblem not only of Vitoria-Gasteiz, but of the entire Basque Country.

In 1886, Manuel Goya opened his first confectionery and cake shop in Vitoria-Gasteiz, starting an artisan tradition which has lasted up to present.

After five generations, this tradition makes Goya stand as one of the most representative confectionery and cake shops in the Basque country. Goyaýs best known confectionery products are their bonbon varieties, "Vasquitos" y "Nesquitas" and "trufas". During the Christmas season, they also elaborate "turrón", offering 20 different varieties of this typical nougat confection. Other specialities sold all year round include a range of cakes and sweets. At Goya, they still make confectionery delicacies in a traditional way, although aided by modern technologies, to preserve the taste and quality of their products.

Apart from the shops in Dato street, other Confiterías Goya shops in Vitoria are: Av.
