Wineries in the Basque Country
Direct descendant of Bodegas Heredad de Baroja, which was the first masterpiece by Fernando Meruelo and Félix Revuelta, they later created Bodegas Lar de Paula in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. Simple and adapted to the setting, the building was erected attaching importance to the main functionality: to make it easier the grapes' transformation to wine.
The working processes in Bodegas Lar de Paula base on the combination of the most traditional production methods with the latest technologies and a new way to understand the wine world. With grapes from vines of over 20 years they produce modern wines.
Their wide range of wines is marketed under the following brands: "Lar de Paula" (white, mature, new, reserve and old stocks) and "Merus.4" (high expression).
