Located in the hotel of the same name, on the edge of the Gorbeia nature park, La Casa del Patrón was renovated in 2009 and offers a modern setting.
Diners can choose from a fixed menu, à la carte dishes and cazuelitas (local casseroles), but the house specialities are the elaborate pintxos concocted by award-winning chef Rubén González.
The restaurant boasts a large conservatory with an open fire and is the perfect place to replenish your strength and savour one of the coffees lovingly prepared by Patxi González, the chef's brother and an award-winning barista.
