The municipality of Zambrana is located in the historical territory of Alava and belongs to Cuadrilla de Añana.
Four villages form the municipality and Zambrana is the main one. We'll start our trip in the village itself, where we'll find different lordly houses and the church of Santa Lucía.
The area of Berganzo presents the parish church of San Miguel, of a beautiful Romanesque style and containing a beautiful altarpiece of Romanist style. On the other hand, in Portilla should be highlighted the homonym castle and the beautiful landscape that surrounds it offering a great view of the area.
Zambrana celebrates many festivals throughout the year, but the main festival takes place the last weekend in July, consecrated to Santa Lucía. The popular festivities, on the other hand, are held in September, consecrated to San Isidro.
