Kanala Beach is located in the town of Gautegiz-Arteaga, on the right bank of the ria of Gernika.
This quiet and cosy beach with its golden-colour sand, pebbles and stones, offers the chance to relax, sunbathe and enjoy a nice swim as well as to practice sports such as windsurfing, sailing and canoeing.
Besides, thanks to its privileged setting, visitors can admire the excellent views of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, a natural spot made up of 12-km of sandy areas constituting the dampest zone in the Basque Country.
