Ethnographic Museum of Oyón-Oion

The museum depicts the life, customs, curiosities and anecdotes of Rioja Alavesa over the last few centuries. The 219.88 sq. metre museum is structured into seven topics: agriculture -harvest, haulage...-, livestock farming, trades -shoe making, carpentry...-, weights and measurements, transport and domestic life -bread making, household chores...- and religious vestments -chasubles, capes...-.

 

Some of the items were produced in workshops from Toledo in the 18th century. Besides, the hall holds an exhibition of Giralda III. In all, 297 items comprise the collection. Admission free.

 

Collections: 297 items depicting the life, customs, curiosities and anecdotes of Rioja Alavesa over the last few centuries. Clothing, working tools, furniture, religious vestments, and so on.
