The San Sebastián Aquarium-Palacio del Mar offers an educational tour through the sea world, providing a diverse sample of flora and fauna.
Three exhibition areas make up the Aquarium. Firstly, an Oceanarium with a 360-degree methacrylate tunnel where sharks are the most remarkable species. The second hall displays oceanographic collections, and the last area focuses on the local sea history.
Aiming to count on the active participation of the visitors, the Aquarium-Palacio del Mar of Donostia-San Sebastián provides a comprehensive activities' programme where guided tours, immersions, programme "Sleeping among fish" -to get familiar with the night sea world-, and conferences should be highlighted, among many others.
Collections: Tropical aquariums and oceanarium with a tropical river, Caribbean and Indo Pacific reefs, pelagic fish species, aquarium where fish species can be touched, moray eels, micro worlds and dangerous species.
