Horcasitas Palace is located in the town centre of Balmaseda.
Its construction was ordered by Lucas de Horcasitas, in 1686. Of Neoclassical style, it has some Baroque elements. The palace is a four-storey building and surrounded by a garden and a fence. As for its original layout, its lower floors housed the winery and the stables, whereas the rooms and lounges were located on the upper floors. The attic was on the last floor. Built in ashlar, the main facade has balconies of forged steel, surrounded by the coat of arms of the Horcasitas family.
The main entrance is located between two Corinthian-style columns that, at the same time, support the main balcony.
