The hermitage of San Miguel de Zumetxaga is located in Mungia, at the feet of mount Jata. It is the best-known building of Basque late Romanesque style in Bizkaia.
The building has one rectangular nave built in checker work and presided over by a portico at the front entrance.
The apse's window is outstanding. Likewise, the outer columns are worth mentioning too, with circular elements, rhombus' nets and string baskets.
