Megalitic itinerary of Haizko

The Ubal mountain range is full of megalithic monuments.

The old inhabitants of Karrantza Valley built them in order to bury their deceased. The graves date back to the Neolithic and Eneolithic periods, second half of the 4th millennium and 3rd millennium BC. The Haizko megalithic route includes many interesting constructions: the dolmen of Fuentellano and the necropolises of La Cabaña, Cotobasero, La Boheriza and Bernalta.
