The parish church of San Esteban was constructed with just one nave and cross ribbed vaults. The temple had to be rebuilt as a consequence of the fire that broke out in 1476, and the works continued during the following centuries. The tower with only a few windows gives way to a fortress-looking structure that was designed by Nicolás de Lizarraga together with large buttresses. Inside, among the elements worth mentioning is the altarpiece, a piece by Juan de Huici dating back to the 17th century and declared Cultural Asset by the Basque Government.
