Bilbao, once again the capital of sustainable urban mobility

These dates will see the second edition of the SUM Bilbao congress, an event to discuss the challenges of sustainable urban mobility in Europe and Latin America.  

It is a top international congress featuring round tables, interviews and talks, where institutions, leaders and businesses can debate challenges and opportunities with the aim of reinforcing sustainable mobility systems. 

Over these two days more than 60 speakers will be focusing on three topics: the energy transition, governance and finance and mobility, digitalisation and innovation. Alongside the congress there will be activities and information about responsible, sustainable tourism at El Arenal from 7th to 9th October. 

Basquetour will be taking part by presenting its tourist options involving mobility and sustainability and with an information point at El Arenal. Moreover, the congress will end with the reading and signature of the new Bilbao Declaration, the road map for sustainable tourism.
