You are in Elciego, in the very heart of Rioja Alavesa, on the premises of Bodegas Valdelana. The experience begins in the winery’s ethnographic and wine museum. Appreciation and respect for everything connected with the culture of wine has led the family that owns it to collect and preserve a wide range of objects. These are carefully classified and displayed to create a valuable exhibition which a guide will explain in a pleasant, fun way.

After visiting the winery chapel decorated and protected by a 16th-century fretwork screen, you move on to the tasting room, where your senses will be stimulated and delighted by a tasting you will never forget. After taking in the spectacular views of the landscape mosaic of Rioja Alavesa from the so-called “Balcony of the Varieties”, when the moon lights up the night we begin what we call star matching. 5 bright glasses, 5 wines, 5 legends of constellations…
