An activity for groups or families where one or two of their members have motor difficulties or visual problems and who wish to discover the fantastic setting of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe.
The activity combines hillwalking, culture, nature and history and can now be enjoyed by people with reduced mobility thanks to our support, using tools only available in the Basque Country. We use Joëlette wheelchairs that open the way to places not previously accessible. This is a unique opportunity for people with some kind of reduced mobility to enjoy one of the most emblematic spots in the Basque Country, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. We will overcome the obstacles to climb the 241 stairs. We will meet in the carpark of the Eneperi restaurant and, first of all making our way downwards, will then start the exiting climb up the stairs. From the top you will enjoy views of the coast and learn about the history of the little island and its hermitage. A sympathetic, friendly, fun, accessible and inclusive experience.
