We invite you to discover two spots unique in the Basque Country at first hand: the Salt Valley of Añana and the Ondarre cheese makers in Segura.
During your guided your of the Salt Valley you´ll have the chance to find out how the salt from Añana was made, about its 7,000-year history and the peculiarities of this place that make it a landscape unique in the world. You can also enjoy the benefits of salt at the Spa Salino.
At Ondarre cheese makers, in a beautiful farmstead over 500 years old, you can make some craft cheese and visit the pastures, the farm and the museum. The visit ends with a tasting of two kinds of cheese, a cream cheese and the one you´ve just made yourself.
You can taste the combination of the best Basque cheese and salt from Añana. All this accompanied by home-made apple preserve, water, cider and farmhouse bread.
