Pensión Balerdi is situated on the way into San Sebastián’s Old Town, placing it just a few minutes’ walk from the town’s main attractions including La Concha beach, the Kursaal conference centre and the best restaurants and pintxo bars. Refurbished in 2015, the guest house is housed in a building dating from 1846, built partly with stones from the old walls, which were demolished following the siege and fire suffered by San Sebastián in the year 1813. Just 50 metres away there is a public car park and the guest house is very handy for both urban and out-of-town transport links.
