Antoñana Walls

Antoñana Walls

Art & Culture

Cultural Heritage

The village of Antoñana was built in the Middle Ages and, following the custom of the period, it was surrounded by walls in order to defend it.

As time went by, the walls became integrated as part of the village's houses, acting as walls for the houses within them. Nowadays the South door, one of its original gates, is still visible and so is a cube located on the West side.
