A new edition of the Zegama-Aizkorri alpine marathon will be staged in May, with points counting towards the Golden Trail World Series.
The competitors must complete a demanding run stretching just over 42 kilometres, which begins in Zegama and passes over the Aizkorri mountain range.The marathon includes four of the highest mountain peaks in the Basque Country.
